Directorial & Writer Debut: “Host” Short Film

This Spring, I had the opportunity to create the first short film that I wrote, directed, edited, and starred in. The short film, “Host,” centers on a young performer named Alice who is caught in an internal battle of perfectionism. In her world, she feels she is constantly chasing the creation of art… and constantly running away from the voices telling her to disappear. This film is very dear to me and has connections to my personal experience in the entertainment industry, and I am so thankful that I was able to have my film acting conservatory help support the film’s creation.

At the core of my mission, I strive to create art that advocates for female mental health and brings awareness to lived experiences that go unnoticed in our society. I am in the process of creating an official site for my film and am continuing my producing journey to submit the film to festivals across the nation. I look forward to bringing this film to larger audiences and building my writing portfolio. Here’s to creating the art we hope to see in the world!

The official webpage for “Host” is live on my website, and I encourage you to check out the trailer and learn more about various mental health resources on this page.
